Market Cap (₹ crore)
Share price multiplied by paid-up equity shares, in rupees crore.
The screen requires a market cap below ₹500 crore. It deliberately skips the usual ₹500 crore float floor, because small size is the point.
Low is better
Profit Growth, 3-Year CAGR (%)
Compound annual growth rate of profit after tax between the latest annual figure and the one three years earlier.
The screen requires more than 25% a year. A starting profit that is zero or negative leaves the rate undefined, so such a stock does not qualify.
High is better
Debt-to-Equity Ratio
Total debt divided by total equity from the latest annual balance sheet.
The screen requires a ratio below 0.3, so debt is under a third of equity.
Low is better
Promoter Holding (%)
Promoter share of equity in the latest quarterly shareholding pattern.
The screen requires more than 50%, so promoters hold a majority.
High is better
Promoter Pledge (%)
Pledged shares as a share of the promoter's own holding.
A stock qualifies when no pledge is on record or the pledge is no more than 30%.
